Bullet; Purple Personality Bullet; Purple

The day when Almud first arrived in this time of future, he was certain he could find the answer to his question on the swamp he woke up on. He searched and searched, studying every plant and small creature he could find but eventually had to accept the fact the answer wouldn't show up in one day. He built himself and Scribbles a simple lean-to for shelter and had to walk quite a long while to get to the nearest source of clean water and fish. One day he would be able to clean the polluted mire water with his spells but for now he didn't have the supplies to do such deeds reliably. As evening came, Almud started to gather rocks and branches to create a campfire so he could cook the single fish he had managed to catch.

He set the rocks down in a circle formation and set the pieces of wood on fire with a simple fire spell. In no time at all, the campfire was ready and he started to fry his catch. As he waited for the fish to cook, a sudden, sharp wail echoed in the woods. Almud flinched and clutched the stick on which he had suspended his cooking meal. Now, Almud wasn't the sort to fear strange sounds in the night, in fact, he usually adored them. But now that he didn't have a proper house for safety, he couldn't help but feel slightly threatened. He whispered to Scribbles, telling him to hold on tight in case Almud would need to suddenly swoop up and fly to the night sky to escape a possible predator. After a moment of listening to the wails, Almud spotted something in his campfire. Translucent, purple appendages stretched out from one of the rocks he had placed around his campfire to prevent the fire from escaping. One of the ghostly limbs started to claw at the ground in a desperate attempt to pull itself away but it didn't really have the strength for such a stunt. The other appendage, resembling a head on an elongated neck, looked pained and tried to lean as far away from the fire as it could.

Almud quickly set down his fish and moved over to the rock with the two ghostly creatures. The rock was too hot to touch with his bare hands so he decided to quickly push it to the side with his foot. After being moved, the ghostly appendages tried to fan the rock in a desperate effort to cool it down. When Almud saw this, he quickly grabbed his waterskin and poured all of its contents on the rock. The water sizzled and steamed from the rock but it seemed to give the ghost some relief as they let out a sigh. Finally, the ghosts properly acknowledged the human's presence and looked over to him curiously. They knew he wasn't a bad man since he so graciously helped them. The fire may have been made by the human, but he couldn't possibly know this simple little rock was actually alive... or well, relatively alive, at least. Similarly, Almud studied the creature, uncertain what exactly it was. Could it be the answer he had been seeking? Or at least a clue?

The ghosts actually liked the fire now that it was further away. The gentle heat warming their stone was something they usually didn't get to experience in the woods. Another nice thing was the way Almud could lift and move their rock around, allowing them to move around faster than ever before. And goodness, the world sure looked different when you weren't stuck on the ground!

(610 words = 3 Levels. Won't claim trainer bonus because it's so short.)

Bullet; Purple Named after a disabled young man Almud once met. The way Armin was unable to move himself too efficintly ended up reminding Almud of that one Armin from his childhood. He can only hope that this ghostly Pokémon's future will be brighter than the original Armin's was.

Bullet; Purple Tends to fall asleep all the time. Armin is very chill all the time and doesn't really have the ability to do anything too interesting to keep himself awake. Though eh, he can't complain too much. Sleeping is nice too!

Bullet; Purple A massive sweetheart. Armin is a very good listener and will do his best to help with people's problems. He's really clever and pretty good at figuring out how to comfort someone who is feeling sad!
